PRENATAL CARE

We primarily provide care out of our clinic, conveniently located in Snohomish. Read more below about in-home care options!

We value the time it takes to get to know you and your family, so offering longer and more frequent visits are important to us.
  • We offer a thorough 2 hour long initial visit.
  • Hour long prenatal visits.
  • Appointments every 4 weeks until 28 weeks gestation, every 2 weeks between 28 and 36 weeks, and then weekly between 36 weeks and birth.
  • Complete in-office lab work.
  • Ultrasounds provided by your choice of facility.
  • The midwives are available to you 24 hours a day, 7 days a week!
  • We collaborate with and refer to other practitioners as appropriate.
  • We are happy to offer co-management of prenatal/postpartum care for those who are planning a hospital delivery.

Labor & birth

We attend births in a variety of settings!  While the majority of our families choose to give birth at home (yes, apartments count!), delivery at a freestanding birth center is also available.  We have privileges at Puget Sound Birth Center in Kirkland,
  • Give birth in a setting that feels calm, safe, and comforting.
  • Continuous presence of supportive, knowledgeable, and nurturing birth attendants.
  • Extensive knowledge regarding non-pharmacological pain relief methods.
  • Nitrous oxide available for birth center deliveries.
  • Waterbirth options in all settings.
  • Delayed cord clamping.
  • Your safety is a priority at all times. We carry a variety of medications and safety equipment should the need arise.
  • If transfer to the hospital is needed, the midwife will facilitate this transition and remain with you until you're settled.

Let us come to you!

Prenatal and postpartum visits are typically offered at our clinic location, however, this optional service was inspired by the recognition that traveling to and from the clinic is not ideal for every family.

This is an optional out-of-pocket expense. If you are interested in receiving in-home care, let us know at your next visit and we can discuss all of the available options and details.
Payment options

We are contracted with most major insurance companies, including Medicaid.  We are committed to creating access to care for all that seek it.  Please talk to us about your options if finances are a barrier.
