Welcome to Snohomish Midwives

Melissa Denmark, Licensed Midwife, has been providing safe, personalized, and compassionate midwifery care for more than two years. She is excited to have moved her Seattle midwifery practice to Snohomish. Melissa sees clients in her clinic in downtown Snohomish and attends births throughout the Snohomish area. Melissa will attend your home birth as far north as Marysville, as far south as Lynnwood and East to Lake Stevens and Monroe. This would include Everett, Clearview, Woodinville, Bothell and Mukilteo.

We are committed to truly holistic care that integrates the physical, emotional, psychological, spiritual, and cultural complexities of your personal history and current lifestyle.

We understand and respect that you possess unique needs and desires, so we strive to individualize our services to best meet them. Our philosophy of midwifery care reflects our dedication to safeguarding the childbearing process, while holding strongly to the practice of non-intervention. We enthusiastically welcome the inclusion of other midwives, doctors, obstetricians, and perinatologists into your care as their expertise is warranted.
