Stephanie, Birth Assistant

After attending her first homebirth in 2006, Stephanie has continued on the path of midwifery with enthusiasm and an eagerness to learn. She has furthered her education and hands on skills thanks to the help of three wonderful midwives, with numerous hours of instruction and application.

Stephanie has been working full-time as a midwife's assistant since April of 2009 and has attended more than forty births in the last year. Her calm, peaceful countenance has lent itself well to her role of supporting women as they labor and birth.

In her spare time, Stephanie enjoys staying active by hiking, skiing, playing volleyball, or tennis, spending time with family and friends, or just sitting down to a good book.
