Lannyl, Birth Assistant

It was when Lannyl was 10 that her neighbor birthed her 2 children at home with a Midwife. Lannyl was amazed that she didn't have to go to the hospital like other Women usually did. Ever since then she has been very passionate about birth the way it was intended to be. In 2008 Lannyl attended Seattle Midwifery School for Birth Doula training. Since becoming certified through PALS ( Pacific association for labor support) she has attended 27 births in 2 years. Lannyl met Melissa in 2009 and is among one of her four birth assistants.

Lannyl is a Mom of two boys which she birthed out of hospital. Her oldest son Dawson is 9 and Trevor is 5. She enjoys scrapbooking, hiking, traveling, reading, and games with her kids.
